Welcome to The Practice.
Relationship & Couples Therapist in Austin and virtually throughout Texas.
I help individuals and couples navigate relational ruptures, intimacy challenges, and attachment-driven conflict — including infidelity repair and desire concerns.
Therapy rooted in attachment science and somatic awareness for real-world relationship struggles.
How We Can Work Together
-

Individual Therapy for Attachment & Self-Discovery
A way to go deeper into understanding your patterns of behavior and get clarity on what keeps you feeling stuck
-

Couples Therapy for Trust Repair & Intimacy
When the relationship feels fragile, tense, or distant — and you don’t know how to rebuild safety without shutting down or exploding.
-

Sex & Intimacy Therapy — Desire, Shame, Connection
When closeness feels complicated — whether that’s mismatched desire, secrecy, resentment, or feeling disconnected in your own body.
Many of my clients come in after betrayal, secrecy, desire discrepancies, or feeling “stuck” in their patterns.
I help you understand the why behind the pattern and practice different responses that change the trajectory of your relationships.
About Victoria
I'm Victoria Towery, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate based in Austin, TX, specializing in trauma, relationships, and codependency. My work is grounded in Somatic EMDR — a body-based, "bottom up" approach that many of my clients describe as the missing piece after years of traditional talk therapy. I also draw on attachment theory to help clients understand the patterns that show up in their relationships, and I'm passionate about creating a warm, judgment-free space where real healing can happen. I offer affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients, those exploring identity and pleasure, and all relationship structures. Sessions are virtual, so you can show up from wherever feels most comfortable — pets absolutely welcome. If cost is a concern, I offer limited sliding scale spots, so don't hesitate to reach out.
